Soul satisfying: This book was heartbreaking, tender and emotional yet it was also filled with hope and timeless truths。 The message of the incredible grace that God bestows upon us was uplifting and it was wonderful being reminded how He restores and heals those who turn to Him in true repentance。 There were dual timelines and although one of which was set during WWII, it wasn't your typical war story and rather highlighted what life was like for common people back in the USA during that time。 Soul satisfying: This book was heartbreaking, tender and emotional yet it was also filled with hope and timeless truths。 The message of the incredible grace that God bestows upon us was uplifting and it was wonderful being reminded how He restores and heals those who turn to Him in true repentance。 There were dual timelines and although one of which was set during WWII, it wasn't your typical war story and rather highlighted what life was like for common people back in the USA during that time。 I grew to become very fond of Daisy and young Brianna too。 It was interesting how although separated by 80 years in age and living in different eras, they still faced similar challenges and had some difficult lessons to learn。 I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review。 All opinions expressed are solely my own。 。。。more

Though not my favorite of Robin's。 I did enjoy this story involving WWII, and some back and forth in timelines。。 As in past books, she had some great quotes/ scripture references that I needed hear and to be reminded of。 The characters were very relatable and engaging with a sweet romance。 I always enjoy curling up with a Robim Lee Hatcher book for the weekend! I haven’t read any Robin Lee Hatcher in some time。 It took me a bit to connect with so many characters and their points of view and then it just started working for me。 Loved the story, the characters and most of all the message。 This is the reason I read Christian fiction。

It has been too long since I read a book by Robin Lee Hatcher。 As always, Ms。 Hatcher took me on a beautiful journey with some wonderful characters。 The use of dual timeline to tell this story just made it better as it is one of my favorite styles of storytelling。Brianna Hastings is assigned a project by her history professor。 She chooses to interview her grandmother who lived through WWII。In 1940s Idaho, Daisy and her sister both have eyes for the bomber pilot they have known for a long time。 W It has been too long since I read a book by Robin Lee Hatcher。 As always, Ms。 Hatcher took me on a beautiful journey with some wonderful characters。 The use of dual timeline to tell this story just made it better as it is one of my favorite styles of storytelling。Brianna Hastings is assigned a project by her history professor。 She chooses to interview her grandmother who lived through WWII。In 1940s Idaho, Daisy and her sister both have eyes for the bomber pilot they have known for a long time。 When he chooses her sister, Daisy tries her best to move on。 During one night, one sister's actions will have permanent consequences and will drive the two sister's apart。 I loved everything about this story。 The dual timeline, how as Brianna learned about her grandmother, she was learning similar lessons of her own。 How Daisy took a difficult situation and made the best out of it。 In the long term, she found love in the last place she expected to and that part of the story along with the redemption is such a beautiful thing。 It is an aspect of Ms。 Hatcher's novels I will never get tired of。 Her faith-filled message and characters who struggle with their faith and later have faith that is strengthened is why I read her books。I voluntarily received a copy of this book from Thomas Nelson and NetGalley。 All views are simply my honest opinion。 。。。more

I’ll Be Seeing You starts off very slow and uneventful but if you stick with it, it continues to become this powerfully beautiful story about forgiveness, grace and true love! Loud confident characters certainly add more drama to a story but I prefer watching the quiet unconfident ones blossom and grow。 I think Todd may be my new favourite male MC! The older I get the more I appreciate strong steady characters in books and I just loved his acceptance and unconditional love of Daisy。 I’m a sucker for marriage of convenience and just so enjoy watching a relationship grow from strangers to friendship to love。I was gifted a copy of this book but all view and opinions shared are my own。 。。。more

This book was a lot preachier than Thomas Nelson usually publishes so that was a surprise。 And the story was very predictable。 Guessed the entire story, both storylines, from the very beginning! But overall, it was a nice story。
